In 1969, Wayne Schnelle and Erwin Hedeman, two Lockwood, MO farmers, began selling grain bins and buildings out of the Schnelle family home: founding S&H Farm Supply.
Like many great businesses, S&H Farm Supply was created out of a need. Farmers were looking for someone who understood their needs, and Wayne Schnelle recognized that. Wayne understood that owning a business wasn’t just about selling the next big item, but it was about serving the community. The Schnelle family lived by that code and, because of it, they became a rock for farmers all over Southwest Missouri.

Business and Inventory soon outgrew the home. In 1974, having begun servicing and selling equipment, S&H moved just south of Lockwood and opened their first official store. Since then, S&H has opened 5 other locations across Southern Missouri.

Today, S&H Farm Supply remains one of the only local and family owned farm supply businesses in Southwest Missouri. All 6 locations are equipped to serve larger farmers, hobbyist farmers, construction crews, and commercial mowers alike. We employ over 200 people across the 6 locations and our in-house shuttle service runs parts and equipment between stores daily to ensure customers get what they need fast.

S&H Farm Supply is proud to have served the community for over 55 years… and we look forward to many more years to come!
